Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar on Friday hailed Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee's historical victory that came after a practical gap of over three decades, in the state assembly polls. Pawar told mediapersons in Mumbai that the remarkable victory indicates that people wanted to get resurrected of the stagnation brought about by the Left Front led Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) in the state. He highlighted that the win also shows that people want and support the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) for stability and development.
