Mayawati all set to be next UP chief minister

BSP supremo Mayawati seems all set to become the next chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. This would be her fourth stint as UP CM. While there is celebration at the BSP party office in Lucknow, a pal of gloom has descended in the Samajwadi Party office. Incumbent Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav has conceded his defeat and is expected to announce his resignation shortly.
