Meghalaya becomes educational hub of India's northeast
Students from northeastern India no longer have to leave their home for higher education. As now, Meghalaya is fast becoming an education hub. Meghalaya attracts thousands of students from rest of the northeastern states, providing insurgent free and educationally conducive atmosphere. Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya has about 20,000 students studying in different colleges and university from outside the state.
