People cutting across faiths make Ramnami Dupattas

Tanda, a small city located in India's northern state of Uttar Pradesh is known for several small and big business units that manufacture clothes. The famous Ramnami Dupattas or saffron coloured scarves, used extensively as an offering to Hindu Lord Ram, are made here on a large-scale. Right from weaving to printing, thousands of people irrespective of their faiths are involved in the production of the dupattas. And the success of these units is attributed to the amity between Hindu and Muslim artisans who have been working together for ages.
