Pre-monsoon rains witnessed in parts of TN

Various locations in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry witnessed pre monsoon downpour in past few days bringing down the effects of scorching heat much to the comfort of the people. Monsoon has not yet arrived in the southern belt of India but is expected shortly.
