President confers gallantry awards

Indian president Pratibha Devisingh Patil conferred gallantry awards and other decorations to serving and retired armed forces personnel in New Delhi. The Defence Investiture award was held at the Rashtrapati Bhawan and was attended by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Home minister Shivraj Patil, Defence minister AK Antony, senior leader Bharatiya Janata Party leader Lal Krishna Advani.
