Seven Maoists arrested in Jharkhand

Seven members of a pro-Maoist group were nabbed from a forest hideout in Latehar district of Jharkhand, officials said on Saturday. Acting on a tip-off, a team of local police raided a hiding place in the nearby woodland and apprehended seven activists of the Swatantra Indian Prastuti Committee. Weapons and ultra-left wing pamphlets were seized from the spot.
