UPA allies won't support Bharat Band: Narayanasamy

Minister of state in the Prime Minister's office, V Narayanasamy has dismissed speculations that key allies of the government would support the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) countrywide shutdown as a mark of protest against FDI in retail. Narayanasamy said that allies like the Trinamool Congress and the DMK are not with the BJP on its shutdown stand.
