Watch | Umar Khalid’s message just before he surrendered to police

Two Jawaharlal Nehru University students Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya, facing the charge of sedition, surrendered before the police late on Tuesday night, hours after the Delhi High Court refused to grant them protection from arrest. Just before his surrender, Khalid recorded a message for his supporters. In the short 18-second clip, he says, “People outside will have to carry on the struggle.
