Woman’s head shaved, garlanded with shoes

Villagers of Kanai Ghat village under Numaligarh Police Station at Golaghat district in Assam shaved off the hair of a woman and garlanded her with shoes. The woman, reportedly a sex worker, was found in a compromising position with a man which enraged the villagers.
