Joe Biden’s top economic advisor warns Modi govt over ties with Putin amid war

After the White House warned India against aligning with Russia over energy imports, now Joe Biden's top economic advisor has threatened India of costs if its continues on its neutral stand amid Russian invasion of Ukraine. “There are certainly areas where we have been disappointed by both China and India’s decisions, in the context of the invasion,” the director of the White House National Economic Council, Brian Deese, told reporters. He added that the U.S has told India that the consequences of a more explicit strategic alignment with Moscow would be significant and long-term. Watch this video for more.
