Macron Scared After Phone Call With Putin's Minister? France Leader Complains Of 'Threatening' Tone

Days after the defence ministers of France and Russia had a phone conversation, French President Emmanuel Macron publicly complained of "threatening" comments by Vladimir Putin's aide. Speaking at an event related to the upcoming Paris Olympics, Macron said that some comments by Russian minister Sergei Shoigu on the call were "bizarre and threatening". Shoigu had warned the French side against "implementing" Macron's suggestion of possibly sending Western troops to Ukraine.
