Modi Minister Sues Tharoor, Congress MP Warns Of ‘Fitting’ Reply Amid Battle For Thiruvananthapuram

Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar, who is contesting upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Thiruvananthapuram, has sued his rival and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor over latter’s “cash for votes” allegations. Tharoor, responding to the defamation notice, said he didn’t throw any specific accusation at Chandrasekhar and was just amplifying the “talk of the town”. Tharoor also said he will give a “suitable reply” to the lawsuit.
