Romania said an unexploded projectile was found on May 16 in the yard of an uninhabited house in Pardina, a locality near the Ukrainian border, highlighting the continuing spillover risks from the war next door. According to Romania’s Defence Ministry, the object was identified as an unguided reactive projectile, and technical checks confirmed that it contained about 2 kilograms of explosives.
