'Bid to save himself from humiliation': Sidhu accuses PM of defaming Punjab

Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu hit out at BJP leaders on Friday saying that the BJP's accusations against Congress conspiring to harm the PM are false and baseless. Taking a dig at the low turnout for BJP's Ferozepur rally, Sidhu said the allegations were made to deflect the humiliation. The PM's convoy was stranded on a flyover due to a blockade by protesters in Ferozepur on Wednesday and he had to return from the poll-bound state without attending any event, including a rally. The BJP has termed it a serious security breach and the Centre has ordered a probe into the incident. Watch full video.
