After Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the three farm laws will be repealed, Opposition in Uttar Pradesh took a jibe at PM. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav called PM Modi’s decision a “deception aimed at elections.” Bahujan Samajwadi Party chief Mayawati said the move was delayed. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath backed PM Modi for repealing farm laws and called it a “historic move”.
