External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar once again exposed Western-imposed sanctions against countries like Russia. Jaishankar said that the West imposes sanctions 'when it suits them. ' Speaking with an Italian newspaper, Corriere della Sera, Jaishankar described these sanctions as “levers” that advanced economies have at their disposal “based on mechanisms, powers, and tools built over many years.” He also said, "Many parts of the world do not accept the concept of sanctions in the same way."
