Go First flights suffer engine snags, grounded; Scindia chairs meet with DGCA

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has grounded two flights of Go First airline. The DGCA order comes after after the two Airbus 320 neo aircraft, s faced engine issues. While the Mumbai-Leh Go First plane had to be diverted to Delhi due to a fault in one of its engines, the Srinagar-Delhi flight had to return to its origin after facing engine trouble. As per the Director General of the DGCA, these planes can only fly after the regulator's clearance. There have been multiple technical malfunction incidents in planes flown by Indian carriers in the last one month. Over the last three days, union aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has held multiple meetings with airlines and officials from his ministry and the DGCA to ensure safety.
