Indian Army gears up to tackle China in Eastern sector amid Ladakh standoff

The Indian Army has shifted focus from counter-insurgency operations in Northeast to reorient forces in the eastern sector. Indian army has inducted new weapons and systems, and enhanced capability building to counter challenges along the border with China. Even as the standoff with PLA at the northern border continue, Indian Army says it has developed a multi-pronged strategy to scale up defences in the North eastern border.
