Cabinet Committee On Security (CCS) has approved a ₹19,000 crore contract for acquisition for more than 200 BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles for the Indian Navy. The deal also includes extended-range missiles which can hit targets 500 km away. Hindustan Times has learnt the contract would be signed in coming weeks.
