Hair stylist Jawed Habib landed himself in hot water after a video of him spitting on a woman's head went viral. Habib was criticised by netizens and faced a rap from the National Commission for Women. In the video, Habib is seen spitting on the woman's hair while she sits with her back to him. Habib can be heard saying, ‘If you don't have water...this spit has life’. Jawed Habib has now issued an apology statement through a video message. He said, “These are professional workshops, as in, they are attended by people from within our profession. When these sessions get very long, we have to make them humorous.” Habib added, “I apologise from the bottom of my heart. Please forgive me.” Watch the full video for more.
