Mexico proposes PM Modi's name for panel on global peace along with Pope Francis

Mexico is mulling to submit a proposal at UN to set up a 3-member panel for global truce. In the proposal, Mexico has sought that the 3-member commission should have PM Narendra Modi, Pope Francis and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. As per the proposal, the 3-member panel will promote a five-year ceasefire across the world. The panel will aim for a global ceasefire in physical and trade wars between nations. Speaking to media, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said that during the ceasefire, all nations must come together and serve the underprivileged. Watch this report for more details.
