Nepal police fired tear gas and rubber bullets at hundreds of protesters who were staging a demonstration outside the Parliament against U.S aid. Police have arrested dozens of protesters. The violent protest comes after the Nepalese lawmakers began debating the bill in Parliament over U.S' $500 million grant for new infra projects ahead of Feb 28 deadline to pass it. Nepal's ruling coalition partner which includes Maoist leader are against the U.S grant. The U.S has meanwhile accused Chine of fomenting misinformation about its aid. Watch this video to know more.
