A video of Punjab Aam Aadmi Party MLA Baljinder Kaur being slapped by her husband in public, has gone viral. The video, captured on CCTV camera outside her house has been doing rounds on social media platforms since Thursday. The incident reportedly took place on July 10. No formal complaint has been lodged regarding the incident. Reacting to the shocking video, angry netizens have demanded action against the husband asking if a people's representative does not speak out against violence then what hope do ordinary citizens have. Punjab women's panel has taken suo motu cognizance of the incident.
