Putin, his friend corner Zelensky; Ukrainian troops dig trenches to escape shelling from Belarus

Ukrainian forces are reportedly building a second line of anti-tank trenches in the Rovno region, close to its border with Belarus. Tass reported that Kyiv has started building the trenches within the reinforcement of fortifications at the border even as it fights Russian troops in the east and south. Belarus, which has its troops training with Russian forces, sees Ukraine's trench building as a 'security risk'. Belarus has warned that it would 'adequately respond' to any 'armed provocation'. Remember, Ukraine has for months warned that Belarus could enter the war on Russia's side.
