Ukraine: PM Modi, Macron talk ‘cascading effect’ of war; Condemn civilian deaths

India & France called for an immediate end to hostilities in Ukraine to promote dialogue and diplomacy. A joint statement was issued after talks between PM Modi & Macron in Paris on Wednesday. India and France have expressed ‘serious concern’ over the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Both leaders condemned civilian deaths in Ukraine and underlined the need to respect the UN Charter, international law and sovereignty and territorial integrity of states.
