Indian-American Vivek Ramaswamy has pitched for expanded ties with India to get economic independence from China. He also joked about his Indian connection while presenting his plan to reduce dependency on China. Ramaswamy’s India pitch comes days after his H-1B shocker. He said he would gut the visa programme that has been largely used by Indian and other South Asian professionals to work in the United States.
