India, England Test begins amid tight security

The first cricket Test match between India and England began amid tight security on Thursday with the venue Chidamabaram Stadium in Chennai turning into a virtual fortress. Indian authorities have tightened the security to meet the safety concerns of England team in the wake of recent Mumbai terror attacks, following which the visitors resumed their aborted tour.
