India’s Davis Cup team avoids relegation from World Group

The country's Davis Cup team avoided relegation from the World Group tier-I after taking an unassailable 3-0 lead against minnows Indonesia in Bangalore. The team of Leander Paes and Sanam Singh secured the tie for the Indian team, after Somdev Devvarman and Yuki Bhambri had won their respective single ties on Friday to give India a strong 2-0 lead.
