India put up a stunning show on the last day of the Gabba test to beat the hosts and seal the 4 match series 2-1. Chasing 328 runs for victory, Shubman Gill scored 91 runs and Rishabh Pant played an unbeaten 89 runs to take India to victory. Washington Sundar performed with the bat again and played a stellar knock under pressure. Pant and Sundar stitched a crucial 53-run stand. This came after the wickets of Cheteshwar Pujara and Mayank Agarwal with the second new ball put Australia in the driver’s seat. India managed to chase down 328 with 3 wickets to spare.
