Men’s hockey team beat Italy 8-1

A first half hattrick by drag flicker Sandeep Singh powered the Indian men's hockey team to a comprehensive 8-1 in their second Olympic qualifier against Italy in New Delhi on Sunday. Speaking to mediapersons after the match, Singh however said that the defence still needs to work hard. Coach Michael Nobbs hoped to do well in upcoming games as well.
