about the video
India needed 5 runs from 1 ball to win the Nidahas Trophy 2018. Bangladesh was on the verge of making sure that they curtail India’s consecutive win record against them and get a famous win for their country. Everything went according to their plan till the 17th over and then walked in Dinesh Karthik. He smashed Rubel for 22 runs in the penultimate over and brought down the equation to 12 runs from the last 6 balls of the match. With Karthik walking in later than Vijay Shankar, everyone was furious at the shoddy batting lineup decision. But Karthik remained calm and composed and smacked the last ball for six in order to make it a memorable win for India. But will it be remembered in the same tone as Javed Miandad’s?
