Hayden made his 29th Test hundred on the fourth day of the second Test at SCG on Saturday while captain Ricky Ponting strode out of the field after his early dismissal by Harbhajan Singh. Ponting's wicket has sent a shudder through the Australian team as they are wiped out a 69-run innings deficit to be 21 runs in front at lunch for the loss of two wickets.
