China, Iran and Russia kicked off joint maritime drills in the Gulf of Oman on Monday. Chinese Defense Ministry said the drills were aimed at maintaining maritime security. Joint exercise of the three navies named as "Security bond-2024" will conclude on March 15. This is the second time China has conducted joint drills in Indian Ocean since Gaza war erupted.
