Jordan intercepted several missiles and drones during the Iranian attack on Israel on October 1. Jordan’s Public Security Directorate stated that “the Royal Jordanian Air Force and air defence systems responded to a number of missiles and drones that entered Jordanian airspace.” Meanwhile, Jordan, a key US ally in the Middle East, also allowed the American Navy to use its airspace to intercept Iranian projectiles.
