Ukraine "launched a missile strike" at the Russian city of Taganrog in Rostov oblast. The Russian Defence Ministry stated that its forces shot down the Ukrainian missile. However, a huge blast took place in the city centre after the missile was downed. According to local authorities, at least 20 people were injured in the blast. Rostov's Governor said the missile was intercepted by Russian forces, but fragments ended up falling on the city. Minutes after the blast in Taganrog, another missile was shot down near the city.
