The unrest sparked by 22-year-old Mahsa Amini's death in the custody of morality police for not wearing her hijab properly has spread to southern Iran. A new viral video shows schoolgirls throwing hijabs in air and heckling a member of paramilitary force Basij, also known as Iran's morality police. The girls can be allegedly heard chanting 'Death to dictator' and 'Get lost Basij' in the video. Meanwhile, French singers and artists and Swedish Euro MP chopped off a block off hair in solidarity with the Iranian women.
