Israeli defence ministry has angered several politicians in the country as it reportedly hired hundreds of Palestinian labourers to repair the fence between Israel and Gaza, damaged by the war. Israeli economy minister and another Knesset member termed the decision "like spitting in public's face" and "learnt nothing from Oct 7 attacks."
