The decision, made at a weekly meeting in Stockholm on May 3, was announced on May 4. The person at the centre of sex abuse scandal is French photographer Jean-Claude Arnault who is the husband of academy member Katarina Frostenson. The academy has said the 2018 prize will be given in 2019.
