Three day polling for Presidential elections in Egypt has begun from today. The lack of a strong opponent has almost guaranteed the current President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi a second four-year-term. The only other candidate in the race is Moussa Mostafa Moussa, the leader of Ghad party, who curiously has always been a Sisi supporter. His decision to run for presidency has therefore raised many doubts if he is Sisi’s puppet and is running to just make the election look democratic. Moussa, however, has denied this and says that his goal is to win the election.
