The deputy commander of a joint grouping of Russian troops in Ukraine has been "arrested." General Sergei Surovikin apparently "knew about the Wagner coup plan" against Russian President Vladimir Putin. On June 28, the Kremlin rejected a U.S. Media report that a top Russian military general knew about Yevgeny Prgozhin's plan as "nothing but gossip." However, the arrest of General Surovinkin indicates that the news could be true.
