Dmitry Medvedev, deputy head of the Russian Security Council, has made a stunning statement. Medvedev said that Ukraine lies within the sphere of Russian strategic interests and has no future in any other capacity. Medvedev also said that Ukrainians have fallen into a stupid trap by the U.S. and its allies. He said that the concept that Ukraine is not Russia must vanish forever.
