The U.S. has opened an investigation after its drone crashed in Baghdad on January 19. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed that it shot down the U.S. MQ-9 drone as it launched a fresh attack on U.S-led international forces. With this, the Iran-backed alliance of militants took total number of attacks on coalition of international troops in Iraq and Syria to 140 since the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza began in October last year. The latest attack comes as a major embarrassment for the Joe Biden administration, which is already fighting another Iran-backed militia - the Houthis - in Yemen. Watch for more details.
