Violent clashes erupted between Israeli forces and Muslim worshippers after the dawn prayers at the al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem on April 5. Wafa news agency reported that Israeli forces fired tear gas at “thousands of worshippers” who were chanting slogans to protest against Israel’s war in Gaza.
