Afghanistan, India unveil strategic road

Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai and Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee opened a new road that will help link Afghanistan with a port in Iran and challenge Pakistani dominance of trade routes into the landlocked country. Karzai said that the construction of the road showed India's commitment to help Afghanistan reconstruct.
