India monitors Pak situation

India is keeping a guarded watch at the developments in Pakistan. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had an emergency meeting with External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Chief Security Advisor MK Narayanan to discuss the situation. The Congress hoped that the turbulence in Pakistan would settle down soon. Opposition BJP on Saturday evening condemned imposition of President's Rule in the neighbouring country.
