US Marines on patrol in Afghanistan's Helmand

US Marines moved into Garmsir district in Afghan province of Helmand and began a fierce fight to push Taliban militants west and south. Colonel Peter Petronzio, the US Marine commander in Afghanistan said US troops have killed 400 Taliban since they began an operation in May to seize the district in Afghanistan.
