The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed four fatalities, all women, and six injuries ranging from moderate to minor, in the Beit Awa area near Hebron, marking the first Palestinian deaths in the ongoing Middle East war.

The Palestinian medics said the deaths were caused by "shrapnel falling."

Shortly before the deaths were confirmed, Israel's military said it had identified "missiles launched from Iran toward the territory of the State of Israel," adding that it was “operating to intercept the threat.”
