Can’t agree that Russia poses threat to US, says Kremlin

Russia said the US’ new national security strategy that was presented by President Donald Trump needs to be carefully studied.

The Kremlin cannot agree that Russia poses a threat to the United States, spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday, after the administration of US President Donald Trump presented a new national security strategy.

Peskov said that at first glance, the new strategy had an imperialist character and showed a lack of willingness to give up on unilateralism. But the new strategy needs to be carefully studied, he told reporters.
