Here are the latest updates
- Israel reported that over 180 missiles were fired into its territory from Iran, prompting the activation of Israeli air defences to intercept them. According to the Pentagon, U.S. Navy warships launched approximately a dozen interceptors against the missiles targeting Israel.
- Palestinian health officials stated that Israeli airstrikes in the occupied West Bank resulted in the deaths of six individuals, including the son of a notable imprisoned militant. Israel claimed that all the deceased were militants involved in previous attacks.
- Israeli officials vowed to respond to the aggression. Major General Herzi Halevi stated, "We will choose when to collect the price and prove our precise and surprising attack capabilities in accordance with the guidance of the political leadership."
- The United States expressed its backing for its long-time ally. Spokesman Jake Sullivan stated, "We have made clear that there will be consequences, severe consequences, for this attack, and we will work with Israel to make that the case," during a White House briefing.
